Meet Cider, previously known as Dilla.
She is my one and only Blythe girl. I had thought I was going to get out of the hobby but then decided not to. Unfortunately I didn't come to the decision until I'd already sold all of her clothing, shoes and accessories. The only thing left is what she is wearing here:
so I'm frantically sewing little tiny clothing. Thank heavens for the free Blythe patterns out there. Currently I'm working on the Aloha Spirit Redux dress from xoxo, Blythe which I'm hoping turns out pretty enough to post a picture of.

Melly Kay's giveaway
Melly Kay, who is an amazing Blythe customizer, is giving away one of her lovely girls. You can find the interview and giveaway here! The girl she is giving away, Miss Bellatrix Gamma Ray, is so incredible! I love her eye lids especially.

1st post
EDIT 11/7/10: The picture links are broken now and I don't have the pictures anymore to fix them so sadly this post has no pictures. ):
So I'm working on my second Blythe now. My first one, Tallulah Belle who was an ADG Pinafore Purple, went to live with a new owner a few months ago.
That is Lu after all the customizing I did including sand matting, freckles, painted eye lids, new lashes, all new chips, new lips and a boil perm.
I think this new girl, who is a PD Violetina, is going to be named Vivian, or Viv for short. We'll see how she turns out. So far I've sand matted her and painted her eye lids. She has plum Brainworm chips in and has new Ixtee ones coming in saddle brown, dark khaki green and dark gray. I spent 3 hours trying to get her lips painted tonight! Lips are not easy. I finally decided to let the latest try dry until tomorrow at least.
I do not like the bright violet hair. I thought I would since I'm a huge fan of purple. I'm debating on RIT dying it a dark purple. I'm a sucker for red heads though so I may try red first just to see how it turns out.
Anyway... This blog will be for updates on the custom work I'm doing on Viv. Or whatever her name turns out to be!
Oh and here is the poor baby in pieces at the moment:
